The Frederick Rescue Mission is the largest provider of hot meals to the homeless and working poor in Frederick. Proffitt and Associates completed a two-story addition to the original jail building, which includes classrooms, a computer room, restrooms, shower facilities and a 100 seat dining room that converts into a 150 seat chapel.

New interior finishes include exposed ceilings, stained concrete floors and ample windows to provide natural light into the facility. Classrooms use operable partitions to accommodate small or large groups.
